Hassle free returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, supplements, shampoos and grooming products. We also do not accept products that are intimate such as underwear, bits, studs, 'Gel' items that are in direct contact with horse and Riding hats.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@fairpriceequestrian.com for return address details.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Please obtain a proof of posting for your own insurance. We will not be liable for items that go missing in the post.

The optimal protection against bad falls

Inspired by the protective vest designed for motorcycling or skiing, the SAFEFIT airbag vest, in the event of a fall, triggers mechanically and ultra-fast before impact in order to protect the vital areas of your body, including the abdomen, the rib cage, the neck, the back and more precisely the spine.

Protection for the daily life of riders

To prevent serious injuries, the SAFEFIT airbag is activated very quickly before impact and protects the alignment of the trunk: back, lumbar area, neck, cervical spine, rib cage, pelvis and sacrum. This makes you less vulnerable on horseback and gives you the peace of mind you need to excel.

The SAFEFIT airbag vest is delivered with a CO2 gas cartridge, an arming key, its connection strap and its connector cord. The latter, attached to the knives of your saddle, ensures the connection between your airbag vest and your saddle thanks to the connection strap directly linked to the gas cartridge. In the event of a fall, the gas cartridge is disconnected from the vest: it is this mechanism that triggers the inflation of the airbag chamber in a few milliseconds. All you have to do is refit a new cartridge in no time at all.

Practical, light and comfortable

The SAFEFIT airbag vest has been designed to meet the needs of riders. Made from stretch fabrics, it is light and comfortable and is forgotten once in the saddle. Its mesh cut-outs allow for better ventilation while giving it a technical look appreciated by sportsmen.

Adaptability in all circumstances

With its slim fit, SAFEFIT will adapt to your riding clothes. In competition, it is discreet under compatible jackets and at home, during your rides, it can be worn over your favourite winter down jacket or over a t-shirt in the middle of summer. An opportunity to show off its customised details!

With SAFEFIT, you wear an airbag vest without feeling like you are wearing one. SAFEFIT is lightweight (less than 600 grams) and does not restrict your movements. Made of stretchy materials, it follows all your efforts without friction. Its micro-perforated fabric allows for ventilation, so you can wear SAFEFIT in summer and winter. It is easy to forget once you are in the saddle and does not create any extra thickness.

The SAFEFIT airbag vest has the new NF S72-800:2022 standard, which is the only standard for the certification of riding airbags, and is CE certified, issued by the independent laboratory ALIENOR CERTIFICATION.

SAFEFIT CERTIFICATION, A GUARANTEE OF YOUR SAFETY

In order to ensure maximum protection for riders and to avoid serious injuries, SAFEFIT has been subjected to numerous tests by theindependent laboratory ALIÉNOR CERTIFICATION. SAFEFIT has therefore been awarded thenew NF certification (S72-800:2022)and theCE markin accordance with the European directive89/686/CEEof 21/12/1986. This standard is the result of the work of a group of European experts who, over a period of 4 years, designed thefirst and only standard governing the manufacture of horse riding airbags(Personal Protective Equipment - PPE). It is the guarantee of an increased protection of the rider according to criteria such as theprotected surface, theinflation speedor theshock resistance. Thus, SAFEFIT protects you frommechanical shocks,hyper flexionsandhyperextensionsof the trunk and the rachis. It is the best possible compromise between protection, comfort and ergonomic requirements.

Strength of locks and restraints
Tests have been carried out to ensure that the fasteners cannot open and that the airbag cannot move more than one tenth of the length of the chest when the waistcoat is triggered.
Strap strength connection
The connecting strap must withstand an energy of 10J and show no signs of deterioration when tested.
Ergonomics
SAFEFIT has also been tested for comfort and freedom of movement for the rider. It does not restrict movement and is not restrictive for the wearer.
Trigger energy
When the waistcoat explodes, the maximum system activation time must be less than 257 ms. SAFEFIT has been measured between 140 and 248 ms.
Shock absorption
During this test, the airbag is subjected to pressure tests. The test is carried out using various devices to test the effectiveness of the airbag.
